Tsunami is large waves of water caused by disturbances on the ocean floor, such as earthquakes.  The cause of tsunamis is usually because there are underwater earthquakes, landslides, volcanic eruptions, and the fall of large objects such as meteors into the water. This disturbance forms waves that spread in all directions with wave speeds reaching 600-900 km/hour. At first, the waves have a small amplitude generally around 30-60 cm, so it is not felt in the high seas.  However, the amplitude will increase and enlarge as waves travel towards the coast.  When it reaches the coast, the water level rises like a monster wall with a size of about 15-30 meters, with a speed of 90 km / h, then hits the land and reaches several kilometers from the coast, and causes great damage and casualties.
